Hello everyone! It’s been like 100 years since I last posted a review about a mystery game 😆 so I decided to write one about The Darkside Detective, an indie Steam game available for Windows, Mac and Linux. The game was so well received that it even got funded on kickstarter for a second season (the first season was funded on kickstarter too)!! Woo!!
In this game, you play as McQueen, a detective who works alongside his partner, Officer Dooley, in the Darkside Divison; which is lacking in budget but filled with paranormal and occult cases. Will McQueen ever get a raise? 😆

Hello everyone! Wishes in Pen: Chrysanthemums in August is an otome game by Lunaniere which had a successful kickstarter last year and is currently on the works. This review will focus on the demo.
Lunaniere actually contacted me quite a while ago (around August 2018) to ask for a review of their demo but, since I was a bit busy at the time, I told them it’d probably take me a while. I didn’t expect it would take me this long, though, so I apologize for the wait!
The MC is a young woman from modern Tokyo who works as a fashion designer and goes on a business trip to Kyoto for a fashion event. However, she just isn’t happy with her work and wishes she could live another life… Who would have thought that her wish would come true in the most unimaginable way possible?

Five people get trapped inside a strange mansion full of monsters with no recollection of who they are nor what their past might be. Each one of them has a cellphone with a single message that serves as a clue to find a way out of the manor and solve the mystery of their amnesia. Will they succeed or stay trapped forever?
Hello everyone! Time for the first review of the year! I was a bit slow with most of 2018’s console otome games so that’s why I’m reviewing them a bit late. I even plan to make a review on Period Cube eventually even though it’s been more than a year for that one lol. But, anyway, let’s begin!
NOTE: Beware, there’s a lot of ranting (and swearing) 😆 . Remember this is my opinion and you don’t necessarily have to agree with it. As always, if you don’t wanna be spoiled, just head to conclusive thoughts.

Hellooooo everyone!!! 😀 How have you been? I have good and bad news. Bad news is that this weekend I had an awful series of headaches and could barely do anything 😥 I really hope my health improves cause’ I haven’t been feeling all that well lately plus I’m losing my appetite :’D but worry not cause’ I’ve already made an appointment with the doctor for a check-up so hopefully they help me 🙂 I’m also thinking of doing a sport. I bet that’ll help me lots. As for the good news *drum roll* I became a premium member at Crunchyroll!!! Ohoho, but that’s not all! I found a video game seller in Buenos Aires (where I live) who is really trustworthy and can bring video games upon request!!! This means that I’ll finally be able to get my hands on physical versions of otome games (and other games of course)!!!! No more excessive digital purchases 😀 and now that we’re talking about digital…he also sells steam cards!!!! YAAAY!!! And last, but not least, I started translating Cafe 0 ~The Sleeping Beast~ to spanish 😀 That’s right, the game I’m about to review!! Well, truth is I already wrote a review about this game on steam (ask me if you wanna know my username 😉 ) but I also wanted to write a review here, so it’ll be kind of similar (there might even be some copypaste lol) to the one on steam but at least it’ll keep my blog fuller ❤
Without further ado, let’s begin!!!
NOTE: This review contains mild spoilers so read at your own risk. If you want to avoid them, though, just jump to “conclusive thoughts”.

Recently, I’ve talked with a friend of mine who’s a game developer about different topics and one of the things we talked about was how some people have a tendency to rate games badly because they aren’t free (or because they aren’t in their language).
This post’s main focus will be on why leaving constructive reviews is good for a video game or any product/service in general.

Odin Sphere is a frame story that begins with a little girl called Alice, who reads a series of books in the attic from her house (with the company of her cat Socrates). Each book has a different character as the protagonist and, thus, tells a different story but set in the same world. What world, you may ask? Well, an RPG wouldn’t be and RPG if it didn’t take place in a fantasy world, right? And what’s better than that fantasy world (called Erion) containing a lot of Norse mythology! Be prepared to immerse yourself in the world of Alice’s books!
Note: This review contains mild spoilers but if you still want to avoid them just jump to “conclusive thoughts”.
