Otome game review: 7’Scarlet

7'scarlet.600.2014006

Ichiko is a college student whose brother has disappeared in a town called Okunezato a year before the story begins. Her childhood friend, Hino, joins a Supernatural club from a website that discusses the mysteries surrounding the town. The club hosts an offline meetup in Okunezato and Hino suggests Ichiko to go investigate her brother’s disappearance.

Hello everyone! It’s been a while since my last review, but I really wanted to review this game because I have a lot to say about it. As always, if you don’t wanna be spoiled, just head to conclusive thoughts. Also, beware because this review has swearing 😆

Let’s begin!!

My first Visual Novel “Tail Me” has been released!

TailMe_title_screen

Hello everyone! It’s been a while, hasn’t it? The reason I wasn’t able to update much was because I spent a lot of time working on a personal visual novel project of mine. And, you guessed it, it’s finally complete!!

Why I’m done with Voltage Inc.

Love_365_Find_Your_Story_-_Title

On this post I share my reasons why I will no longer buy anything from Voltage Inc. Before I begin, though, I want to mention that this is just my opinion and it’s perfectly ok to disagree. I’m simply rambling and ranting on why I’m tired to deal with this company. Anywho, let’s get on with the post!

Otome game review: Mystic Messenger

b918dfaf-468d-4e6f-993b-b3aa78083ae7

What would you do if someone asked you to return a phone to an apartment in order to access a messenger app or if they asked you to play a game at their organization without knowing where it is? Sounds scary, right? Welp, but guess what? You need to do it anyway if you don’t want to get a bad end and play the characters’ routes 😆 Meet the RFA gang and organize a party to raise money for charity!!

It’s definitely been a while since this game was released, but since they added 2 new routes I decided I finally wanted to make a review on it.

NOTE: This review contains spoilers (yes, including V’s and Ray’s route) so read at your own risk. If you want to avoid them, though, just jump to “conclusive thoughts”.

Otome game review: Bad Apple Wars

BAD.APPLE.WARS.full.1932735

Hey everyone, this is otometantei with a brand new review! This time it’s Bad Apple Wars’ turn, an otome game that came out last October.

The story starts with our protagonist, Rinka, dying after being hit by a car. She then arrives to a NEVAEH Academy, a school for those whose souls were left behind after death (kinda like Angel Beats). At the school entrance ceremony, she witnesses some kind of war between the DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE (formed by teachers and prefects) and the BAD APPLES (rebellious students who break the rules and refuse to be part of the “good apples”). Which side will Rinka choose?

Recommended Mobile Otome Routes

Joey-Tribiani-How-You-Doin

Hello, hello! It’s been a while since I last posted, huh? I’ve been quite busy with my finals but, luckily, I’m done with them so I’m more free now!! Well, truth is I also didn’t know what I should post next; this blog’s main focus is about otome AND mysteries but I haven’t posted any mystery-related content yet. I definitely will, though, it’s a promise!!

Ok, putting that aside, I made a post before about the worst mobile otome routes I’ve ever played, right? So, this time, I wanted to make a post about the ones I actually enjoyed!! I won’t really make a top 10 or anything; this’ll be more of a recommendation post but I may do a top 10 or top 5 or top something someday 😛 Ahem! By the way, I won’t talk about mobile games that are actually brought from PSP (like Demon’s Bond or Eternal Vows) since they’re not really mobile games. Also won’t be talking about Mystic Messenger, despite it actually BEING a mobile game because that one is a whole new category in itself. It doesn’t have the quality you can expect from a mobile otome game, it’s much much better so I don’t think it’s fair to put it on this list; I’ll just make a full review on Mystic Messenger after I finish it. I’ll also structure this post by game and tell you which routes I recommend the most from them (I hope this makes sense 😆 ). As for East Tower, it’s also a mobile game but I’ll cover it on a full review too since I want to ramble about a lot of good things the game has to offer yet sometimes is ignored for the not so great art. In the case of Voltage games, I might add things about their sequels and such but this will be mostly about the main routes.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy these recommendations ♡ And tell me what you think, I’d love to read your comments! Also, remember these recommendations are my personal opinion so that doesn’t mean everyone has to agree with me 😛 . This post has mild spoilers so it should be alright to read 🙂 But WARNING, it’s a bit long 😆 Let’s start!

Worst Mobile Otome Routes I’ve Ever Played

myeyes

Everyone knows just how hard GOOD mobile otome games are to find. What about BAD ones, though? After debating about it for a few minutes, I decided to make this post. Mobile otome games usually have a separated route system so, instead of games, I’ll talk about the worst ROUTES I’ve ever played. Also, I didn’t make a top 10 cause’ I couldn’t really decide the order but wanted to share my views nonetheless. Anyway, I hope you have a good laugh with these ♡ Also, remember these are for fun and not intended to offend anyone, everything written here’s just my personal opinion and that doesn’t mean you have to agree with me :P.
